MILWAUKEE – A familiar voice to Milwaukee R & B fans has been silenced. Twenty-one year old Yolanda “La La” Brown and her producer, 22-year-old JeTannue Clayborn, were found dead in their recording studio Friday night.
Milwaukee police say both were found in the Loud Enuff Productionz studio at 55th and Lisbon. Both had gunshot wounds and had been dead at least a day before being discovered. They were reportedly dating.
JeTannue’s mother, Dina Chambers, describes him as energetic, with an eye toward making music his career. “He loved music. He loved people. He was very kind. They called him “Koo Laid” because every time you saw him, he was smiling.”

This is truely sad! I just met her and her sister. They both seemed so full of life and LaLa was telling me about her plans for the new year. All I can do si pray that whoever did this come forward and turn themselves in to help give both familes closure. I hate that this happened and now her baby girl will always be without a Mother and an only child. Thats so messed up!
LaLa you will be truley missed! Luv your friend Mia
I knew both personally & had the chance to work alongside both. They were very beautiful people who had dreams as big as the world. So sad that their lives had to end this way. R.I.P to both & my support goes out to their families.

Sad. Sometimes nice guys finish last in this business. It is an emotional thing, you know. Don’t know what the beef was, but it obviously went beyond business, definitely personal for sure. Lot of artists are dying this year and last. Too bad. Too damn bad. Ummm, Um. Hate to hear it.
