A new song by the Backstreet Boys has been released on their official website. The song is called Straight Through My Heart Soldier Down and was produced by RedOne who has worked with Lady Gaga and fellow boy band, The New Kids on the Block. This is the first single off of their album “This Is Us†which is set for release on October 6 of this year.
In an interview with Extra TV the Backstreet Boys confirmed the title of their seventh album to be “This Is Us”
The Backstreet Boys formally announced the dates for the European and South American Tour for their newest album, “This is Us”. The tour will start on October 30.
The group has been working on a new album due for release in 2009 and are confirmed to be working with Max Martin, OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder, RedOne, Ne-Yo, Brian Kennedy, Jazze Pha, Pitbull, Claude Kelly, Akon, Jim Jonsin, Eddie Galan, T-Pain, Rami Yacoub, Kristian Lundin and many others have confirmed collaborations on the new album.

Hi everyone… i’m a fan of backstreet Boys, for a long time… I like so much them, but this song, dont seams anything compared that they worked for… :S
I have been a BSB fan for a long time now and I can say that
this is not who they are AT ALL. The lyrics make them sound
cocky and conceited and they’re not that AT ALL! They need
to be true to who they are. If the rest of their album sounds
like this, they will probably lose a good portion of their
older fans (meaning those who are like 40, 50 years old… I’ve
seen them at concerts so I know they exist). Good luck to them
with this one.

I can’t believe I’m saying that a backstreetboys song suck but its true this song is lame. The backstreetboys usually have beautiful and wonderful songs. R&B is not what they should be singing. Go back to singing pop music please please please!!!

This isn’t bad! It’s just that a lot of fans aren’t used to that. But HEY, we’re 2009 NOW! We’re not the 90′ anymore! If backstreet Boys still want to be on the top charts this is the road they have to take and work with such good producers. (ok, it’s true T-Pain isn’t THE one)
But you’ll have to deal with the fact that the backstreet boys can’t permit themselve to stay in the seem line as they did 10 years before! That would really kill them. They have to found a way to touch other people, people of know who didn’t followed them from the beginning!

i have heard the new single , the sound is good but the corus is dissapointing and i think the guys are trying too hard to make a big single like incomplete, i want it that way.They did not do well with the single inconsolable infact the album itself did no make a lot of sales therefore, they slightly changed to dance/pop sound for the first single.i luv the band and i am lookin forward to the new album.i am gona take time to digest the song.where is the live dvd of bsb cz i wnt it in ma hands i can seem to find it.come to south africa!!!!!!bsb for life
